Whole process spoofing interference detection and mitigation method for GNSS receiver

  • Repeater-type spoofing interference, characterized by its highly authentic signal structure and covert nature, presents a critical defense challenge demanding urgent breakthroughs in satellite navigation security. Addressing this challenge, this paper proposes an whole process collaborative analysis-based detection and mitigation method for GNSS receiver to counter repeater spoofing attacks. This method innovatively extends the detection perspective across the entire signal processing chain of the receiver. By conducting a comprehensive analysis of the spatiotemporal correlation anomalies exposed by repeater spoofing throughout the processing flow, it establishes a multi-dimensional indicator system encompassing the “antenna front-end, signal layer, and information layer”. Furthermore, it incorporates an efficient feature fusion and joint decision-making mechanism. Simulation results demonstrate that this method can effectively detect and alert against interference signals of varying intensities. This research not only provides an efficient and versatile technical solution to combat the most challenging repeater spoofing attacks but also, through its core philosophy of “whole process, cross-layer, collaborative perception”, offers significant theoretical reference and practical support for the design of future satellite navigation receiver security architectures.
