Abstract
Aiming at the current issues in the field of oil and gas pipeline inspection, such as the lack of an unified spatio-temporal service system, the inability to transmit information in real-time in areas without public networks, and the difficulty in effectively integrating and aligning inspection data, this research fully utilizes BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) enhanced positioning, high-precision timing, and short message communication technologies. A top-level design of the BDS application scheme for oil and gas pipeline inspection has been developed from six aspects: the basic layer, perception layer, network layer, data layer, algorithm layer, and application layer. Combining artificial intelligence technology, exploratory research has been conducted in pipeline inspection scenarios. Through the self-developed BeiDou terminal and service platform construction, practical applications have been carried out at the sites of internal and external pipeline inspection projects. The results show that the research findings meet the requirements of pipeline production, contribute to the intelligent operation of pipeline inspection, and provide valuable insights for the large-scale application of BDS in the oil and gas pipeline network and the construction of intelligent pipelines in the next step.
